And finally, Shaun the Sheep has made it to the Netherlands, albeit with a funny accent and a new name, "Shaun het Schaap."

I do wish they hadn't changed the theme song, however. It's not nearly as cute in Dutch. :c/

I'm certain that I'm a much bigger pack rat collector than you. My parents and older brothers are collectors, as well. ;)

Um yeah..."collector" that's what I meant to say. Sure. Collector. *nods*

I used to be a collector, but then when I moved over here a few years ago it just didn't make sense to haul all that stuff with me, so I got rid of what felt like tons of miscellaneous things I'd managed to hoard acquire over the years.

What kind of things do you collect?

Art books, reference books, comic books, manga, anime books, doujinshi, comics reprint books, animation books. I have a lot of complete runs of magazines. I've got a huge collection of American comic books and underground comics, old National Lampoons and Heavy Metals, stuff like that, that featured comics and illustrations.

Hmmm...I have a lot of Betty Boop and animation collectibles. There's 1930s toys and Mickey Mouse collectibles. Lots of animated cartoons on film. Blue mirror glass and Art Deco stuff. Van Briggle pottery.

My mother has "prettier" collectibles though -- lots of 1920s and 30s glassware and dishes, antique poison bottles and telephone pole insulators. She also collects advertising tins and metal signs as well as postcards.
