Hi-Res Sniv

I'm sure most of you have seen these in one place or another, but I thought I'd put them here as well because they just make me all warm and fuzzy inside. :c) And you can really see where they've given Alec a truly Rickman-esque nose. I've been waiting on the hi-res close-up of Young Snape since the sticker first made its' appearance.

NOT dial-up friendly!

Special thanks to [livejournal.com profile] oopmoviepics and [livejournal.com profile] alec_hopkins for posting these. :c)

Yes, I would've had a crush on that wizard in high school...

They got a good resemblance on the nose, didn't they. I'd almost bet Alan brought in photos from his youth. After all, the guy took it upon himself to have "wonky teeth" made for NS, cut off the Snape wig without permission, insisted that the Sheriff of Nottingham wear all black, and gave detailed instructions to the boy playing his young self in Mesmer. Surely he got involved in the development of the young Snape.

That's NOT an insult! I adore passionate people who throw themselves into projects and take on a real emotional investment. The worst thing someone can say to me is, "Whatever..."

BTW - Please don't ever hesitate to share photos/info that you think everyone has already seen. I seldom check Rickman sites, so it's always new to me! Thanks for sharing!

The actor playing Young!Snape (Alec Hopkins) said in an interview that Rickman worked with him so that Young!Snape's mannerisms and behavior would be consistent with Older!Snape's. For example, Hopkins said that Rickman told him that Snape always keeps his back straight.

I recall hearing that it was Rickman's idea to have Snape make his dramatic entrance in the PoA film, waving the classroom shutters closed.
