Edinburgh

I know I promised photos of my trip to Edinburgh ages ago (back in April!!!!), but I never got around to posting them. I was reminded of this fact because my friend Connie posted HER photos finally. :c)

I'm having trouble uploading stuff from our server these days, but I thought I would at least post the photo of me standing in front of Deacon Brodie's, a lovely pub where I had some really good smoked haddock soup charmingly named "cullen skink."




I had originally thought I might go back again to Edinburgh next year, but it doesn't look as if the budget will cover it a second time. Shame, really, because it's such a gorgeous city.

Great pic. I liked Edinburgh alot. Spouse and I had a great time visiting the city and walked what must have been a hundred miles through the town. Best way to really see the city. If you get a chance to go back, don't miss Stirling. A lovely city, more charming than Edinburgh, IMO, with gorgeous surronding countryside.
