Not that I have $5.something million in my sekrit bank vault or anything. :c) I'm a big fan of old houses, provided they are updated but retain the architectural details that make them so unique. And I'm particularly impressed with the use of color here. I'm still working on ideas for our own house, and I intend to get rid of these damned white walls if it's the last thing I do. BO-ring!
This fascination with other people's houses is also being fed by such BBC shows as "To Buy or Not To Buy" and "Escape to the Country," which I watch faithfully every morning. :c) The second show in particular not only gives you a peek at some absolutely gorgeous cottages, but of the countryside as well, which is beyond compare. Jaw-dropping, for sure. *sigh*
In other news, we've survived our first week without Zorro, and while we all still miss him, and think about him, the teary-eyed stage is over. We've decided to get another pup after we return from vacation this summer, since we want Griffin to be here and taking a new puppy in a camper for three weeks is just kind of asking for trouble. :c)
The weather can best be described as "mercurial," with rain, wind, sun, snow, hail, and clouds all in the same day, within hours of one another. Actually, we didn't have snow yesterday, but it was a near miss. Oh! And Happy First Day of Spring/Autumn (depending on your hemisphere)!
Alright, "Escape" is on right now, so I'm going to watch that before I have to pick up the kidlets from school.
