HP Friday 5 for August 31, 2007
Aug. 31st, 2007 09:09 am1. What's the nerdiest thing you've ever done in the name of Harry Potter?
Hung out at a bookstore at 1:00 a.m. waiting for DH, wearing my Snape shirt and my time-turner necklace, chatting with a bunch of Dutch teenagers about Snape. :c)
2. How many people have you peer-pressured into reading the series?
None.
3. What's the biggest misconception non-HP have about the series and/or fandom?
That we're all teenagers
4. What is your favorite piece of HP merchandise?
My computer Hermione. She sits on my monitor, reading.
5. Do you think the HP fandom will still be strong 10 years from now?
Alas, no. I think the ending that Jo gave her series has put a serious kabosh on the books ever truly achieving "childhood classic" status.
