Abandoned Hotels

I'm a bit of an armchair Urban Explorer, preferring to look at photos of abandoned buildings rather than climb around dangerous, moldy, and creepy places myself. I always try to imagine what those once-thriving places must have looked like, and try to guess why they were left to rot.



So it's no surprise that this article caught my eye. Such a sad testament to broken dreams and the ravages of time, I wonder if, like the Overlook Hotel in "The Shining," the memories imprinted into the walls and rooms are those of happy guests on holiday, or something....else. At the hotel in Fife, at least, it might just be the latter.
