Since it's Spring here (in fact if not always in temperature), I've been looking at all kinds of things for the yard/garden.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get at least one of these sculptures, because they're cute as hell. :c)

IKEA hack for cat lovers

These were made using IKEA's Bjarnum brackets and Jarpen shelves, topped with pieces of carpet. On the very top shelf there is a Bastis cat bed (also from IKEA) for snuggling.

I meant to post this a couple of days ago, but forgot. It's all in Dutch, so most of you won't have a clue what's being said (boring stuff about the future plans for the city of Almere), but I thought perhaps some of you would like to see a little of the city where I live.

Oh, as a little bit of trivia, Burgermeester Annemarie Jorritsma is the woman who presented me with my naturalization papers a couple of years back.
