I just heard from a friend of mine that the house we used to live in in California went up in flames on Monday, victim of one of the many brush fires that are still burning from San Diego to Santa Barbara. We used to live a few blocks from the crossing at Soledad Canyon and Sand Canyon Roads in Canyon Country. I've seen photos of the fires burning all up down Soledad, which is the main drag though CC.

I'm glad as hell we're not still there, but man, I feel bad about the house being gone. :c(

P.S. I know a couple of my flisters are from So Cal. Everyone okay?

I believe it - I saw some video and between the smoke and all that ash flying around it looked like some kind of snowstorm in Hell.

The winds are supposed to die down today, so it should be better. ~crosses fingers~
