Know what these are?



They're radiators. Designed by Guus in Eindhoven, these are made from a single steel tube that both begins and ends at the tail of the animal, for easy attachment to your heating pipes. Each animal is covered with a covered cushion made from that particular animal's fur, which is filled with wheat. The cushion is warmed on the pipes, and then ready to curl up with on a cold winter's night.

While I'm not a fan of the fur usage, I think these are a pretty unique solution to the age-old problem of butt-ugly radiators.

Ein Zwei Die!

One of the most popular entries in this year's Sundance Film Festival was an unusual Norwegian film called "Dead Snow." It was picked up by IFC, and you can expect it in a theatre near you later this year.
