They're radiators. Designed by Guus in Eindhoven, these are made from a single steel tube that both begins and ends at the tail of the animal, for easy attachment to your heating pipes. Each animal is covered with a covered cushion made from that particular animal's fur, which is filled with wheat. The cushion is warmed on the pipes, and then ready to curl up with on a cold winter's night.
While I'm not a fan of the fur usage, I think these are a pretty unique solution to the age-old problem of butt-ugly radiators.
