Oh good grief. Here it is, the first day of Spring, and we've got snow warnings for this weekend. :cP Right now it's cold, windy, rainy, and we've even had a few hail storms today. I really wish Winter would get a freaking clue and go away.
We're supposed to go to the Keukenhof this Sunday with hubby's parents. I'm not sure I want to be tiptoe-ing through the tulips if it means I get to wade through the slush as well. :c/ Ah well, it'll be an adventure for sure. I've been wanting to go there for years, so a little bit of frost isn't going to keep me away. It should make for some fabulous photos, too.
Not much else going on these days, which is why I've been so quiet. Endless days of grey wet do not inspire me into waxing rhapsodic, so instead I have finally started to dive into the research I need to do for a little something I'm writing. I very quickly realized that I need to find a better source than my local library, so I'm going to have to keep looking. I have a feeling I'm going to become very acquainted with the train schedule over the next year or so as I travel around the country looking at old stuff.
I may or may not be around much this weekend. Certainly not Sunday and probably not Monday (we're attending my husband's grandmother's birthday that day) although since Monday is also my oldest son's birthday, I'll at least pop in to post a b-day greeting that he'll never see. /irony
Ugh. It's positively poring. I'm going to go bury my head back into my reading. Have a good one, flist! :c)
