Well, to clarify, I don't mind the adult version with the locket. It's in keeping with the HBP adult version, and while understated, conveys quite a bit.
The child's version looks like some crap comic book art to me. The US version, which I think is better executed, is just...boring. What, Harry and Voldy travel to Rome and the final battle takes place in the Coliseum? And the sickly baby-poop yellow...gah!
I'm hoping it will all make much better sense once I've read the book. :c)
Yeah, I wasn't really very clear on which one I was grousing about, but I actually *do* like the locket version. It's the comicbook!Harry version that makes me gag. :c)

It is a kind of garish, but nevertheles I like this style.
The US version is drab and a bad composition all together.
Let just wait what Ien van Laan makes for the Dutch version.... THOSE REALLY ARE THE BEST EVER.
