I can't believe how many news services are reporting the absolutely ridiculous idea of casting Madonna's daughter in a HP film.

I think it's completely made up, to be honest. It's just so totally random that either the press is stupid for making it up or WB is stupid for actually considering it.

Thank goodness that Madonna has such a weirdly strict parental code. She'd never allow it.

Ditto. It seems like every teeny piece of HBP news, no matter how irrelevant, takes days to filter down to all the various news sources. which is fine for the big stuff, but how many times you can read about Ashley Whitehead being the last person cast, or that that unfortunately named nephew of Fiennes' is the latest benefactor of nepotism?

And WHY Madonna's kid? How wtf? is that?

I'm pretty sure it is - it makes so little sense I can't believe it got picked up and passed on. Except possibly that it was a slow news weekend with the holiday.

You haven't seen them? It's been all over the media for a few days now. The story goes along the lines that Lourdes was offered (apparently unsolicited) a small part in HBP, but Madonna very sensibly put the kibosh on that idea. The blurb went on to say that Lourdes was still a possibility for the last film, because for some reason, they'd love to have her be a part of HP.

Because, you know, without Madonna's kid, HP just wouldn't be magic or special or anything. /sarcasm

No, I haven't seen them. I'm really distracted lately. But I normally don't search on just HP stuff, just Rickman, so that's probably how I missed it. It's just plain stupid, though! Thank God Madonna is stopping it.
